Prysm Expands Family of Cascade Collaboration Solutions

June 12, 2014 | Telepresence Options

Offers Complete Solutions for Every Size Conference Room

Prysm, Inc., a privately held designer of total display solutions that create unrivaled immersion and engagement, has introduced two new Cascade-series collaboration solutions. In addition to its Cascade 190 and 117 collaboration video walls tailored for ten-plus person meeting rooms, Prysm will offer Cascade 85 and 65 collaboration solutions for smaller rooms. Customers will be able to realize a seamless collaboration experience in every size conference room across the enterprise.

Today's collaborative decision process is increasingly reliant upon combining data from multiple locations and sources in real time. Cascade collaboration solutions enable users to present, share, reposition, resize, annotate and edit all types of content through on-screen touch, PCs or mobile devices. Multiple, simultaneous live inputs can be displayed and interacted with on screen including video, telepresence and web apps. Configurable workspaces allow teams to share the use of a Cascade system with other groups, save their work between sessions and pick up where they left off when they next meet.

"We are revolutionizing the collaboration experience with our Cascade solutions," said Amit Jain, president and chief executive officer of Prysm. "Work groups have a suite of powerful collaboration capabilities at their fingertips and can access their content from anywhere and across multiple sites. The introduction of the Cascade 85 and 65 extend these breakthrough capabilities to rooms of any size."

With Cascade solutions, customers can implement true cloud-enabled collaboration rooms. Mirroring of workspaces between Cascade displays allows geographically distributed teams to simultaneously collaborate on all the content on screen. Projects and associated data can be stored locally or in the cloud, so users can access their content from any Cascade system at any time. Cascade solutions integrate with customers' existing collaboration applications and infrastructure delivering greater team productivity and higher return on investment of IT and facility assets.

"Cascade solutions represent a combination of state-of-the-art hardware, software and network services that raise collaboration to a whole new level," said Dana Corey, vice president of sales and technical operations for Prysm. "Through our complete line of Cascade collaboration solutions serving the boardroom to the two-person breakout room, organizations can improve workflow, streamline communications, increase productivity and accelerate the time to decision."

The Cascade 85 and 65 collaboration solutions are available for order with shipments in Fall 2014. Prysm will feature a demonstration system along with a Cascade 190 collaboration video wall in booth N1115 at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas. Cascade 117 collaboration systems will also be on display at the Anacore and Cisco Systems booths.
