Cisco_logo.gifWhat: Cisco invites the media and 2012 HIMSS Conference attendees to explore the company's latest health innovation pavilion highlighting solutions for telehealth, video collaboration, mobility and tablet PC technology, and clinical workflow solutions that facilitate reliable, highly secure and accessible health care.

At this year's HIMSS Conference, Cisco is showcasing collaboration technology that enable clinician-to-clinician and clinician-to-patient remote video consults and care-at-distance services enabled by Cisco HealthPresence and the Cisco TelePresence VX Clinical Assistant.

At Cisco booth #4223 demonstrations will include solutions for telehealth, mobility and clinical workflow such as:

Cisco HealthPresence: Transforms the delivery of healthcare to enhance care at a distance between patients, clinicians and specialists. Cisco TelePresence VX Clinical Assistant: This easy-to-use, high-definition video collaboration system is designed for mobility at the point of care and is ideal for a variety of medical uses, including remote patient consultations, virtual care, and medical education.

Cisco Containerized Data Center for Health: This data center provides a fast, flexible way to expand, complement, or even replace traditional fixed data centers. The modular approach that Cisco has developed adds capacity as needed, and is more manageable and cost-effective.

Cisco Supports Optum Health Care Cloud: Optum's recently announced health care cloud features Cisco's core collaboration, networking and cloud capabilities.
