Ready, set, go: Astra Zeneca reinvents its meeting rooms
A stunning boardroom forms the centrepiece of a wireless transformation of pharmaceutical giant Astra Zeneca's global HQ in London. Paul Milligan went to the site to see how it was done.
With yearly revenues of €22 billion, you would expect the global HQ of pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca to have AV technology to match. As a result of six months planning and installation by integrator ISDM, it now does.
Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, ISDM first began to work for Astra Zeneca on a consultancy basis. It was then asked by the company to deploy technology into the meeting and communal areas to support collaboration. Rory Brannigan, ISDM's sales director takes up the story: "The AV strategy here is driven by a global collaboration strategy, which is driven by a lot more than technology. It's about human interaction and the culture within the group, and the challenges that lie within that."
