The Ashton Bentley Boardroom three70 + Polycom Immersive Media Engine
Spotted @ ISE: The Ashton Bentley Boardroom three70 powered by the Polycom Immersive Media Engine (IME), which is essentially the same compression, collaboration, and control behind the Polycom Immersive Studio. The solution is "meet in the channel" right now where each component is purchased seperately from distributors and integrators like Imago Scansource and FVC who rep both products and is easily integrated.
The Ashton Bentley components come flat-packed and can be installed quickly without even a screw driver. Each system breaks down to packages weighing less than 150 lbs to fit under the FedEx maximum for air-freight and fits in a standard elevator. Every system is front-servicable, the cables are color-coded, and amplified audio and three 70 inch HD displays are included.
The abox central AV processor provides system control, signal routing, audio processing and power distribution. End-user control is simplified with Polycom's RealPresence Touch and the systems can be remotely managed including cycling the power on any component using absee, the company's remote monitoring and management server.
The Boardroom three70's "Little Brother" is the Boardroom 270 with dual-70inch displays and Ashton Bentley makes a mount for Array Telepresence's DX Camera to enable lifesize, immersive telepresence and improve the incoming scene from videoconferencing systems using standard PTZ cameras.
