Presentation switcher-scaler features HDBaseT and 'Click to Show-Me' Controller
Brea, Calif. - February 03, 2016 - KanexPro, an industry-leading provider of connectivity solutions to the IT and A/V markets, announces the HDBT- VTSC72-4K Video Tiler and Presentation Scaler Switcher engineered to upscale and present up to four HDMI, DisplayPort and VGA devices such as laptops, Blu-Ray players and desktops to a true 4K resolution and creating a quad window tiling experience fit for any collaboration space. The innovative device allows participants to carry their own devices to be connected to a Quad-View environment using the Click-to-Show me cable controllers.
The HDBT-VTSC72-4K Video Tiler and Scaler Switcher is ideal for the growing number of modern workers requiring access to anytime anyplace collaboration. In today's workplace, design trends are shifting toward flex-use spaces maximizing the utilization of space and huddle-rooms versus the traditional office. Contemporary workplace priorities are tailored to the rise of remote and virtual employees in today's workforce requiring virtualization, cloud computing, cloud content sharing and telepresence in an environment where users can share, collaborate and present projects on a digital canvas.
The KanexPro HDBT- VTSC72-4K is a 7-input, 2-mirrored, both HDMI and HDBaseT, Video Tiler and Presentation Switcher Scaler with 4 HDMI, 2 DisplayPort and 1 VGA inputs with mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs supporting distances over CAT6 up to 70 meters with PoC. Compliant with the latest HDCP specifications, the KanexPro Video Tiler can also be controlled via RS-232 and TCP/IP. It supports native 4K (3840x2160p@30Hz) inputs and outputs with audio de-embedder and breakaway audio switching to support unbalanced stereo. The KanexPro HDBT-VSC72-4K Video Tiler and Scaler can be combined easily with any third party control systems where users can control the entire switch and the video tiling function from a touch panel or an iPad. Video conferencing can be unified to work with most popular conferencing where four-live feeds from a camera can be shown onto one large format 4K display. Lastly, any HDBaseT™ extenders can be combined to work with the Video Tiler since it offers a universal HDBaseT output port supporting PoC over a single Ethernet cable up to 230 feet.
"Modern technology has allowed the workplace to evolve where many people work virtually and we knew it was important for integrators to have something innovative for end-users to allow them to collaborate with co-workers in a simple, easy-to-use manner," says Matthew Bute, vice president of sales and marketing for KanexPro. "The HDBT-VTSC72-4K provides a plethora of benefits since it's perfectly designed for large format displays by utilizing single 4K UHD large screens to replace four HD screens capability hence saves money, installation time and resources. It's designed for corporate boardrooms for presentations, video-conferencing systems, huddle rooms and auditoriums, control rooms and operation centers where digital and analog devices need to be switched, scaled and shared."
