Compass Business Solutions Announces Corporate Name Change to Borderless Learning
Compass Business Solutions announced an updated corporate identity with a name change to Borderless Learning.
In response to wide ranging changes in the training and professional learning industries Compass Business Solutions has announced the launch of a new corporate identity, changing its name to Borderless Learning to be aligned with the Borderless Learning Programs it began offering last year. According to Computerworld we will double the amount of existing data every two years, creating 40 zettabytes of data in the next 8 years. Borderless Learning has created a new way of learning that is designed to help students manage the sheer volume of information they need to consume through a continuous learning approach.
"We started Compass to help our students find the right direction for their continuing education," said Jules Trono, President and CEO of Borderless Learning. "Seven years later the new way of learning brings people together to share knowledge regardless of location or borders. We are grateful for the loyalty and support of our students and partners. Our team looks forward to providing more access to live interaction with instructors and other benefits under our new Borderless Learning brand." Borderless Learning is a leading specialized learning partner for Cisco and provides training for other manufacturers and certifications including Microsoft, ITIL, CompTIA, PMP and others.
Donna Wyvill, Vice President of Operations for Borderless Learning, added, "Businesses expect their employees to keep their product knowledge and skill sets current. We worked with those employees, our students, to build a continuous learning approach that provides ongoing support. The Borderless Learning Programs offer students the ability to communicate with experts throughout their training subscriptions as well as the unlimited ability to re-attend classes." These programs offer students a significant advantage over both traditional and electronic training in their ability to continue learning with instructor support for one or more years after attending a class.

ABOUT BORDERLESS LEARNING
Borderless Learning is a continuing education company that helps people learn new business skills and achieve and maintain certifications that are necessary to perform and win work. Training programs include Cisco, CompTIA, ITIL, Juniper, Microsoft, Mile2, NetApp, Pexip, PMP, Resilia, VMware and others. Borderless Learning Programs enable students to learn anywhere. These programs remove the travel burden from students through live virtual delivery of instruction and on-demand lab access, practice exams and electronic courseware, spreading out the learning time commitment so managers and employees can structure a continuing education learning approach that balances work needs. The programs also provide mentoring so students can continue to get questions answered by subject matter experts throughout their subscription term. This gives them an advantage in the ability to maintain current knowledge with extended hands-on access to lab equipment with the support of instructors. Traditional courses are also still available.
BORDERLESS LEARNING was founded by Jules Trono in 2008 under the Compass Business Solutions brand. Founded by communication industry professionals who have been working with telecommunication and video technologies since 1989, launching Tandberg University in the USA in 2006, Borderless Learning was Cisco's first authorized TelePresence Specialist Learning Partner in the US.
Borderless Learning is a certified WBE/WOSB.
