Montage: Wireless Presentations, Now With Added Collaboration
Collaboration technology specialist DisplayNote is turning its attention to the world's meeting rooms and boardrooms with its new wireless presentation solution, Montage.
The all-in-one Montage box allows up to 12 participants to share their content both with each other and with the main display in real time. It just works -- wherever they are, whatever the device, wirelessly, in-room, remotely.
Montage also features the power of touch and gestures -- presenters can drag and resize participants' windows, pass presenter control, swipe files, control a PC from the main display, deploy annotation and whiteboard tools.
Raises the bar to new heights
In addition, Montage also comes with full voice and video as a standard feature.
Now anyone can present, annotate, take the meeting lead, or follow along -- all while easily sharing anything that's on their device, including full files, with the group.
This groundbreaking feature available as both a hardware and software solution lets every team member share, collaborate and be productive. Montage is also fully cross-platform compatible.
DisplayNote CEO Paul Brown explains the origins of Montage:
"Struggling with existing wireless-presentation systems, we saw three things that needed improving.
"Firstly, they need to embrace the touch and gesture experience users have come to expect from using large-format displays or smart devices. With our solution you can see a montage of everyone's screen on the main display and can use touch to make any one of them full screen or view all 12 screens, you can rearrange them, slide them in and out of view, close them and share files.
"Secondly, the experience should be the same whether you're in the meeting room or joining remotely, so Montage has video and voice capabilities right out of the box. You can be on the road, on your tablet or on your phone and join in like you're sitting right there.
"Lastly, collaboration should be baked into the system -- not just tacked on at the end to check a box. As a company we live and breathe collaboration. That's why we've built it from the ground up to support file-sharing, white-boarding and the ability to control a participant's desktop right from the main display."
