Imago ScanSource to Distribute Ashton Bentley's "VC in a Box"
Imago ScanSource has announced a new distribution agreement with Ashton Bentley. Ashton Bentley specialises in creating an 'integrated VC system in-a-box', which is simple for customers to deploy and use. Each unified system combines a core video conferencing engine based on the customer's choice of manufacturer.
Imago ScanSource resellers will work with customers to help them specify the right codec engine and camera for their needs, and then supply the entire package enabling the user to simply 'walk in and work'. The system also features reporting and monitoring tools that can be accessed remotely through a web browser.
The solutions range from a single 55? screen compact video conferencing solution to a three 70? screen immersive telepresence system. Complimentary table systems are also available from 3 seat to 15 seat collaboration tables for an immersive AV environment. These are all ergonomically designed room solutions that maximise use of space.
Ian Vickerage (pictured), Managing Director of Imago ScanSource, said: "The solutions available from Ashton Bentley are clever in so many ways. Customers benefit from the very best branded components from leading manufacturers, without any of the hassle associated with setting up a video conferencing or telepresence system. Each package is designed specifically to meet customer needs with the biggest benefit being that it is so simple to deploy and use that they can start to see a return on their investment immediately."
Tony Leedham, Business Development Director of Ashton Bentley, commented: "Imago ScanSource has vast experience in the distribution of VC platforms and this will enable the resellers to combine both VC hardware and our audio-visual environments into one simple solution for the user. This will provide us with the perfect channel management structure to enable more users to experience our unique solutions."
