Going to a meeting always seems like a chore whenever you aren't having it at your office. If it's raining on top of it, you really don't feel like going to a meeting.

So you can stay in the office, yet still attend your meeting, consider using video conferencing instead. This allows you to still have a face-to-face conversation without having to worry about being soaked by the rain. On top of being able to avoid the rain, there are several benefits to you and your company whenever you're using this kind of technology.
