Can we talk? Chromebox meets the videoconference challenge
SUPERMARKET giant Woolworths' expansion of its Google footprint will see hundreds of employees embrace new videoconferencing capabilities from the search giant.
About 100 Chromebox for Meetings units would be deployed at the 200,000-person strong retailer and would cover its liquor division, which includes Dan Murphy's, Woolworths program director Deon Ludick said.
Chromebox for Meetings is a small rectangular box with rounded corners, and comes bundled with a camera, microphone, remote control and speaker.
It's an all-in-one package for videoconferencing application Google+ Hangouts, with Google Apps integration.
