Telchemy Announces High Speed VoIP and IP Videoconferencing Software Probe
Highly Scalable Software Probe Targeted at Virtual Environments, SDN and NFV
Telchemy Incorporated, the leading provider of real time monitoring and analysis technology for IP based voice and video services, today announced the availability of SQprobe 3.0 with VoIP and Videoconferencing support.
SQprobe is a pure software probe, with no dependencies on hardware, designed for deployment on common hypervisor platforms or on standard Linux systems, achieving Gigabit performance levels on commodity server platforms, and scaling linearly with number of cores to 10 Gigabit rates. This advanced real time application is designed to provide optimum performance for emerging virtualized networks such as SDN and NFV, as well as conventional embedded software probe and datacenter applications.
SQprobe analyzes real time VoIP and IP Videoconferencing traffic with SIP signaling, reports on every call attempt and provides detailed QoE and performance metrics for each connected call; it is uniquely able to report on encrypted media streams without decryption. This allows service providers, enterprise and governments to monitor critical voice and video services, enabling them to pro-actively detect, troubleshoot and resolve problems, minimizing the impact on users and subscribers.
For Voice over IP, it supports the broadest range of narrowband, wideband, ultra-wideband and fullband voice and audio codecs within the industry, ranging from ITU G Series codecs, AMR-NB/WB/WB+, EVRC, SMV, Opus, SILK, iLBC and proprietary codecs to smart audio codecs with adaptive bit rate, adaptive sample rate and error correction. For IP Video Conferencing, SQprobe supports a wide range of video codecs such as H.261, H.263, H.263+, H.264 and SVC, and advanced error control including forward error correction, packet and content based retransmission and frame loss concealment.
Telchemy's advanced perceptual models analyze the impact of transient impairments in voice and video streams, modeling their effect on user perceived quality. This enables SQprobe to produce more accurate MOS scores under real world conditions of time varying quality.
SQprobe 3.0 incorporates Telchemy's advanced VQmon technology which is protected by 7 granted US patents and associated international patents and is the most widely used technology for real time QoE (MOS) score reporting with over 150 million copies deployed,.
SQprobe 3.0 for VoIP and Videoconferencing is available for immediate delivery, please contact Telchemy Sales for further information.
