Latest Telepresence and Visual Collaboration News:
New WolfVision vSolution Products on Show at ISE
WolfVision's customizable vSolution, developed in co-operation with some of the world's leading universities and corporations is transforming the way multimedia presentation content material is handled: the flexible combination of Visualizer hardware, software, and accessory components supports more effective communication and collaboration, using advanced but easy-to-use presentation technology.
New WolfVision vSolution key components on show at ISE 2014 are the VZ-9.4F and VZ-9.4L Desktop Visualizers, plus the VZ-C6 Ceiling Visualizer - three new models that provide highly effective imaging solutions that enable the flexible and efficient handling of multimedia presentation content. In addition to the ability to display both 'live' and external content material from a wide variety of sources, the new Visualizers are the first WolfVision units to feature onboard HD video capture with audio, enabling the recording of complete multimedia presentations and lectures.
Recordings are not limited to the Visualizer's own camera, and external display material from connected PC's or tablets, such as digital images, PowerPoint, PDF's, or webpages, can also be easily captured, including audio. Presentations can be streamed to computers, tablets, or smartphones, either on an internal network or over the internet.
The VZ-9.4 Series and VZ-C6 Visualizers offer integrated WLAN, 8GB internal memory plus additional USB stick memory expansion, and HDMI input and output. The VZ-9.4L and VZ-C6 Visualizers feature WolfVision's Synchronized Lasermarkers and a Synchronized Lightfield respectively, for easier positioning of objects. The VZ-9.4F has a native 1080p HD camera with up to 60 frames per second, the VZ-9.4L comes with a native 720p HD /WXGA camera at 30 fps, and the VZ-C6 has a native 1080p HD camera with 30 fps.
Bring Your Own Device
All three Visualizers are compatible with WolfVision's new vConnect for iPad software. Syncing an iPad wirelessly with a Visualizer enables it to be used as a multimedia control dashboard. In addition to the display of 'live' Visualizer material, all media types, such as videos, charts and graphs, and PDFs, etc. are easily integrated into a presentation, and controlled from a single device. Material stored either locally on the iPad or in Dropbox can be displayed seamlessly, and webpages are also easily shown on-screen to audiences simply by navigating to them using the in-app web browser.
A Live Image Preview shows exactly what the audience sees on-screen, and wireless connectivity allows presentations or lectures to be delivered from anywhere in the room. Live on-screen annotation facilitates making notes, sketching, and highlighting of documents, charts and pictures, and a 'virtual' whiteboard function provides an additional dedicated workspace for making and displaying notes. vConnect also gives users the option to record entire presentations including any external content (eg. PDFs, videos, PowerPoint, etc.) including audio, and save them directly to the iPad's internal memory.
The new VZ-9.4 Series, VZ-C6 Visualizers, and vConnect for iPad extend WolfVision's worldwide reputation as a developer of powerful, innovative, and easy-to-use presentation solutions, and will be on show at ISE 2014. Booth 1M20, Hall 1.
