CFO of Vidyo discusses the company's future

July 15, 2013 | Telepresence Options

David kaminsky

Story by Adam Offitzer / North Jersey

David Kaminsky lives in Great Falls, Va., but that doesn't stop him from working at the Hackensack headquarters of the videoconference technology company Vidyo Inc. From Monday to Friday, Kaminsky usually resides in his Englewood apartment -- he describes himself as a "Northeast supercommuter."

I actually discovered Vidyo as a customer. At NTT Data, I invested a lot of money in video telepresence technology, fell in love with the Vidyo product, got to know our CEO Ofer [Shapiro] pretty well ... and to me it was a natural fit, to be able to go to a company that was really blazing new paths. And, it has aspirations of being a big company.
