FuzeBox Leads The Way in Next-Gen Video Conferencing, Adding 50,000 New Enterprise Users in Q1 With 30% of the Fortune 500 Represented
Today, FuzeBox, the global leader in real-time visual collaboration announces a significant update to their native iPad and iPhone apps and reports 200 percent growth in users quarter-over-quarter with adoption in 30 percent of the Fortune 500 companies. In an industry-first for online meetings, Fuze now enables iPad users to:
- Initiate a Fuze video conference with up to 12 HD streams.
- Screen share content via the in-app iPad browser, or from the cloud-based storage including Dropbox.
- Ability to annotate on content and automatically stream to meeting participants.
- Ability to shoot video from the built-in iPad camera, upload it, and share with participants at full HD resolution.
- Fully optimized resolution and screen sharing across varying end point screen sizes and network connection speeds.�
Other new features for the iPad include full capabilities for users to start meetings on behalf of someone else and ease-of-use improvements including quick gesture-controlled layout of multiple video streams, and simplified user interface design and work-flow.
Leveraging FuzeBox's core investments in device interoperability, the iPad and iPhone apps allow meeting attendees to connect across mobile devices, laptops, desktops, and room-based video conferencing systems. Supported systems include Polycom, Tandberg, LifeSize, Teliris, and other H.323 and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) systems. FuzeBox technology enables multiple collaborators to meet and communicate online while automatically accommodating varying network connections, hardware platforms, screen-resolutions, and audio connection services.
