Indian Telco BSNL To Set Up 200 Videoconferencing Centers In 2013
Indian telco will set up public facilities based on revenue share model with partners, as part of new projects to find new income streams.
Indian telco BSNL will set up public videoconferencing centers at 200 locations in 2013, as part of new projects to add new revenues streams.
The facilities will be open to everybody for activities such as meetings, training sessions and etc, said RK Upadhyay, chairman and and managing director of BSNL, in a Times of India report Monday.
According to BSNL, its video and voice of Internet protocol (VVOIP) service will cost 40 paise (US$0.0.07) per minute for audio calls and INR 2 (US$0.036) per minute for video calls within the country. However there video calls to international destinations are not available, according to the report.
