Apollo Telemedicine Service Launched in Yangon
The Apollo Group of Hospitals, one of�Asia's�largest healthcare providers, formally announced the launch of its telemedicine service in Yangon, Myanmar's former capital, on�Dec 4.
Sailesh Thangal, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of�India in Yangon, inaugurated the telemedicine facility services at the Keen Cie Co. Ltd. along with Dr Prathap C Reddy, Chairman Apollo Hospitals Group who was joined by tele-link.
Among the prominent experts present at the launch ceremony were Prof Anupam Sibal, Group Medical Director Apollo Hospitals, Prof Sandeep Guleria, Renal and Pancreatic Transplant Surgeon, Dr V.P. Singh, Surgical Oncologist, Dr Muthu Jyothi, Pediatric Cardiac Surgeon and Dr Neerav Goyal, Liver Transplant Surgeon from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals.
Speaking on the tele-link, Dr Prathap C Reddy said, "Our mission is to bring healthcare of international standards within the reach of every individual. We are committed to the achievement and maintenance of excellence in education, research and healthcare for the benefit of humanity."
