CBCI Telecom plans to offer their Canadian-based clients Vpod products to complement their offerings of video conferencing and Telepresence technologies
MONTREAL, Oct. 16, 2012 /CNW/ -
CBCI Telecom, Canada's Leader in Visual Communications, recently signed and agreement to become an authorized reseller of Vpod in Canada. Vpod offers preassembled environments for video conferencing and Telepresence.
Vpod is an obvious product match to expand CBCI Telecom's integrated video conferencing solutions. CBCI Telecom plans to offer their Canadian-based clients Vpod products to complement their offerings of video conferencing and Telepresence technologies.
"Users get the impression that they are sitting around the same table to permit a more natural and fluid environment for communicating and sharing ideas," said Denis Dumouchel, president of the CBCI Telecom. "Vpod has demonstrated that building quality RRA-approved rooms for immersive Telepresence need not be a painful process and is great fit with CBCI Telecom's product and service portfolio."
Google, Johnson and Johnson, Bp, Barclays, and Pfizer are among some of the company's using the solution to incorporate video conferencing into their work environment. The products can be used to deliver unique compact spaces for video collaboration or transform boardrooms into virtual meeting centers.
CBCI Telecom will have details on the Vpod Product line in booth #101 at GTEC 2012 in Ottawa, Canada's premier Government Technology Event.
