Glowpoint and StarLeaf Team Up To Deliver Global Telepresence-as-a-Service Offering Through The OpenVideo(R) Cloud

Service will deliver break-through, anyone-to-everyone "video dial tone" for home, remote and office workers with no local infrastructure or support required
MURRAY HILL, N.J. and SUNNYVALE, Calif., July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Glowpoint Inc., a leading global provider of cloud managed video services, and StarLeaf, a global manufacturer of interoperable video and voice solutions, today announced that they will partner to deliver turn-key cloud video services for desktops and rooms for as little as $99 per month.
Together, Glowpoint and StarLeaf will eliminate the barriers to video deployment by making 'high quality/low cost' telepresence easily accessible and fully supported anywhere in the world. The two companies are set to redefine how businesses access and benefit from video collaboration solutions by combining Glowpoint's unrivaled reliability with StarLeaf's portfolio of easy to use and easy to deploy endpoints.

As part of the agreement, StarLeaf's purpose built video infrastructure will be tightly integrated into Glowpoint's OpenVideo(R) cloud architecture. Customers will be able to purchase the StarLeaf desktop and room systems through Glowpoint bundled with the cloud service, with the option of an All-Inclusive Service Price (AISP) that includes the cost of the system as part of a monthly payment. Customers will also benefit from Glowpoint's 24 x 7 helpdesk and complete system maintenance and support.
