Visual Communications Industry Group, VCI-Group, Expands Annual Event Training Curriculum to Accommodate Membership Growth

Minneapolis, Minnesota May 16, 2012 -- The Visual Communications Industry Group, (VCI-Group), today announced a 46 percent increase in principal membership over the last year and as a result has added two interactive training sessions to be hosted by COMPASS Business Solutions at the upcoming Annual Conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency Monterey Hotel & Spa in Monterey, CA. The two sessions; Usage & Adoption Planning, and CVE (Certified Video Engineer) Exam Update will be held on October 22 and 24th respectively.
Usage & Adoption Planning will be held on October 22 from 9:00 am-12:00 pm and will discuss ways to help individuals develop a plan for driving usage and adoption of visual communication technologies within their organizations. Participants will be provided with a workbook to help them organize U&A program activities.
CVE Update will be held on October 24 from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm and will help participants understand what they need to know to pass the Certified Video Engineer exam. The focus of this session will be on recent technology updates. Individuals with a previously earned CVE will find this session particularly informative.

The driving force of the VCI-Group is to provide continuing education, while also providing a peer networking vehicle for users in the conferencing and collaboration industry.
