Zenith Infotech Launches Low-Cost Private Cloud
April 30, 2012 | Hogan Keyser
TigerCloud, the result of a $38 million development effort by Zenith Infotech, is built on Intel Xeon processor and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization technologies. With a cost purportedly up to 70 percent less than comparable offerings, the platform as a service is aimed squarely at small and midsized businesses that have limited technical capabilities and IT budgets.
"This solution will help both midsized as well as large organizations to build their own private clouds at costs lower than public clouds. TigerCloud as a product is speedier, smarter and stronger and will endeavor to meet the challenging demands and expectations of organizations," said Akash Saraf, managing director and CEO of Zenith Infotech, in published reports out of India.
