StarLeaf Announces a Managed Video Cloud Service With Never Seen Before Pricing
March 26, 2012 | Hogan Keyser
"Video has always been expensive to deploy and hard to use. Our customers love what we've done to make video an intuitive experience but they choke on the high price that other manufacturers charge for infrastructure that's necessary to make it work," said Mark Loney, CEO, StarLeaf. "For this reason alone, we have built a robust, reliable, secure and cost-effective cloud-based service that will make it even easier for businesses of all sizes to benefit from video collaboration -- no matter where they need it deployed."
The StarLeaf Cloud Service is a video and voice solution that provides universal anyone-to-everyone video calling from on-premise StarLeaf endpoints and H.323 devices, which are registered to the StarLeaf service, to any other Internet accessible video device in the world. Making it easy for users to reach and meet anyone face-to-face. It offers users a secure, low-cost, fully managed collaboration environment and the full advantage of the StarLeaf management platform, without the need to purchase an on-premise StarLeaf infrastructure. StarLeaf Cloud Service fees range from $99 for StarLeaf Personal Telepresence and H.323 video devices, rising to $199 per month for the StarLeaf Group Telepresence room system. StarLeaf endpoints are purchased separately.
StarLeaf designs and delivers a single interoperable solution for enterprise-wide video and voice communications. StarLeaf combines personal and room-based telepresence, a purpose built advanced management platform and a consistent user interface, making all video communication as easy as picking up the phone. With ease of use as its guiding principle, StarLeaf unifies video and voice to naturally empower teams and enrich relationships between colleagues, partners and customers-delivering increased productivity and lower costs. StarLeaf offers both on-premise solutions and a full cloud-based service. StarLeaf has offices in California and the UK. For a demonstration and to learn more, visit www.starleaf.com
