The transparent Samsung Smart Window is a fully functional LCD display that doubles as a transparent one-sided window. Users can play movies, browse the Internet, and use widgets but none of the content is visible from the other side. unfortunately it is just a concept at this time and there were no specific specifications, hardware sets, pricing or any projected availability information. The potential for the core technology is limitless including telepresence display and heads up display for car windshields including image/light enhancement, back-up cameras, system information (speed, warnings, GPS directions including upcoming speed traps, and XM radio information. The future is so bright we need to pull down the virtual shades.
