Vu TelePresence Offers Live Golf Critiques From Renowned Golf Instructor, Stan Utley

Vu TelePresence, a Pittsburgh-based telepresence company, today announced its sponsorship of the HP Byron Nelson Championship, where it will be showcasing the latest in video conferencing technology as a lifestyle management tool. After the success of the golf clinics at the Valero Open and Heritage Classic last month, Vu has partnered again with former PGA Tour player and renowned golf instructor, Stan Utley, to bring live golf clinics, via video conferencing, to the golfing community.

At the HP Byron Nelson Championship in Irving, Texas from May 26-29, Vu's tents on the green will feature live golf tutorials through Vu's video conferencing system. Ranked as the No. 6 golf instructor, according to the Golf Digest list of "America's 50 Greatest Teachers," Mr. Utley will provide tips and feedback to attendees on the art of the short game.

"The positive feedback on our Vu TelePresence system from the community has been overwhelming," said Devita Saraf, chief executive officer of Vu TelePresence. "Golf enthusiasts, many of whom are entrepreneurs or small business owners, are seeing first-hand the benefits video conferencing can provide in achieving a work/life balance. By using video conferencing, one can remain connected to their business, while spending time with family or relaxing on the golf course."

During the virtual golf clinics, individuals will be able to demonstrate their short game swing and receive on the spot feedback as well as tips. Mr. Utley currently trains various PGA and LPGA tour players, and also provides private lessons year round at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he currently resides. For this event, he will be Vuing in from his Arizona home.

"Teaching the art of golf really requires face to face instruction, however, with Vu TelePresence, I have been able to offer the same level of detailed and personalized instruction virtually," said Stan Utley. "Through our golf clinics at the Valero Open and Heritage Classic, I have been consistently impressed with Vu's sharp video quality, and I'm currently looking into how I can use Vu to expand my business reach and offering at a national level."
Mr. Utley will be available at the Vu tent during the following dates and times:
HP Byron Nelson Championship:
May 27: 1:00pm - 4:00pm CST
May 28: 10:00am - 1:00pm CST
May 29: 10:00am - 12:00pm CST
The Vu TelePresence system is designed for private conversations among a maximum of 9 locations, and is suited for home offices, individual practices, employee conferences, remote workers, employee offices and executive suites. Vu TelePresence offers a 720p and 1080p system depending on the desired camera. Prices range from $1499 to $2199 to purchase and from $49 to $75 per month to lease.
