One of the most exciting vendors in the telepresence space, Vu TelePresence, has announced a series of Vu TelePoint open houses. During the open house you will be able to experience the Videoconferencing/TelePresence products. Vu TelePresence is "easy to set up, install, and use," company officials say.
Last month officials of Vu TelePresence, which sells telecommunication technology, announced that the company is launching their HD video conferencing system to the European Market at Integrated Systems Europe. Vu TelePresence "enables businesses to gain the convenience and efficiency of conducting remote meetings, reviews, and interviews from the office or boardroom," company officials said, "with the realism of higher-end systems costing three to five times the price.
In fact, they claim, it's "about as easy to use as instant messaging, since Vu TelePresence operates across low bandwidth environments. It's available for multiple room size options, while maintaining HD quality images and sound."
Last October TMC (News - Alert) reported that ?Vu TelePresence, which makes display systems, announced the availability of its TelePresence systems customized for the needs of SMBs, and "the opening of Vu TelePoints, remote access conference suites available by the hour, to conduct videoconferencing with the Vu system.
CEO Devita Saraf (News - Alert) says Vu is, "a customized product specifically made for entrepreneurs and SMB professionals." It's designed to let "entrepreneurial businesses" conduct remote meetings, reviews, and interviews from the office or boardroom "with the realism of higher-end systems costing three to five times the price." The Vu TelePresence Pro is currently available for lease at $49.99 per month (without display unit). The complete system can be purchased for $1499.
Also in October company officials announced the Telepresence (News - Alert) community, sponsored by Vu Telepresence, was launched as an addition to the TMCnet global online community program.
