Jeff_Prestel_BT_Conferencing.jpgBT Conferencing, a leading global provider of audio, video and web collaboration services, has appointed Jeff Prestel as the new CEO.  He takes over the position from Aaron McCormack, who has decided to leave the company to pursue other interests outside the industry.

Prestel, currently general manager and CEO of BT Conferencing's Americas Unit, will take over for McCormack on February 7, 2011.  Jeff joined BT as part of the Wire One acquisition in 2008 and managed BT's video business unit before moving to his current role.  Prior to that, he worked in various global leadership roles at global technology company NCR Corporation, and IBM.  Jeff is an experienced global executive with particular strengths in running businesses designed to meet the needs of clients in fast-moving technology segments.  He will be based in BT Conferencing's offices in the U.S.

Aaron McCormack has been with BT for 17 years and has made a significant contribution to the development and growth of BT Conferencing during the course of the last four years.  Aaron's previous roles at BT included running Global Products in BT Global Services, where he was instrumental in building the global voice and data businesses, particularly MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switching).
