York Telecom launches WAVE Business-to-Business Exchange Service

World-Wide Accessible Video Exchange, or WAVE (News - Alert), was announced by York Telecom Corporation, a global provider of visual communications services and solutions with headquarters at Eatontown, New Jersey.
A secure video network gateway between a client's private network and a partner's private network is provided by York Telecom's Business-to-Business Exchange Service.
WAVE is a conferencing platform which allows connectivity with all carriers, private networks and other exchanges as it does not depend on video manufacturers and network providers. This ensures that a client has a global reach with Quality of Service also known as QoS with secure connections.
All endpoints, whether SIP or Session Initiation Protocol, H.323, H.320, HD, SD, or Telepresence (News - Alert) on any network, will be connected by WAVE with York Telecom's always accessible service. Communication between suppliers and partners anywhere in the world is possible with this service regardless of their equipment, protocol and network.
According to Ron Gaboury, president and COO for York Telecom, a multi-vendor interoperable solution for video conferencing has been the demand of York's customers and prospects.
