New Telepresence Recorder for Cisco Telepresence

September 21, 2009 | Howard Lichtman
Carin_Cisco_Recorder2.jpgTelecommunications software and telephony integration provider TC&C has come out with a solution that records and archives Cisco telepresence sessions. The Carin Recording solution is a full session recording solution - it captures both endpoints of a TelePresence conference as well as the secondary audio/video streams used for audio conferencing and presentation sharing.

The video is captured in raw full HD and then later can be compressed to a more portable WMV files for playback from a web browser on a PC, internet device or even mobile phone. The live video streaming module can be used to stream TelePresence Sessions to people who cannot attend the meeting via TP but still have access to an internet connection and this allows users to make them available to a much wider audience.

The system can be configured for always on recording for compliance purposes or users can choose which sessions to record using the On Demand ad hoc recording method. The solution is built on the company's scalable, and robust Carin Call Recording system which is certified as Cisco Compatible. You can find more detailed information in the CARIN Recording for Cisco Telepresence brochure here.
