BT Designated as First Global TANDBERG Total Service Certified Managed Service Provider

NEW YORK and OSLO, Norway.--TANDBERG and BT today announced that BT is the first global Certified Managed Services Provider for TANDBERG Total Service. With this designation, BT, the leading global provider of conferencing services, will offer a portfolio of comprehensive managed services that ensure high-quality and cost-effective TANDBERG telepresence and video conferencing user experiences.

To achieve this certification, BT had to meet technical, design, and implementation requirements. BT's global presence, in-house expertise, and 24x7 helpdesk support allow the company to provide TANDBERG video users with an end-to-end suite of easy to use and reliable managed services and network solutions.

TANDBERG Total Service makes customized video communication solutions easy to implement, maintain, and monitor, allowing for scalable deployment across the enterprise.

TANDBERG's comprehensive certification program for managed service providers requires the availability of fully managed or hosted global services from dedicated Video Network Operation Centers (VNOC). Certified suppliers, such as BT, must also provide concierge services, Web and telephone reservations, continuous helpdesk support, and proactive testing and monitoring before, during, and after meetings. Certification guarantees customers IP and ISDN gateway services, universal bridging, event recording and streaming, and ad hoc VNOC services.
