PangeAir, the Digital Airline Company, announces launch of their Dayton Telepresence Gateway

July 29, 2008 | Chris Payatagool

DAYTON, Ohio - On Friday, July 18, PangeAir Corporation celebrated the much
anticipated grand opening of their first franchise at the Dayton Convention Center.
Local government officials, television media and the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce
gathered to experience a newly available public-access video communications and media
solution, known as Dayton's PangeAir Gateway.

The PangeAir Telepresence Gateway is available to rent for the purpose of conducting or
attending meetings, facilitating events and providing education and training.
Participants can interact and share data with one another through video on the two
high-definition 65-inch LCD monitors, thus eliminating the time and money required for
travel. Up to 25 people can join a meeting from inside the state-of-the-art suite in the
Dayton Convention Center, and communicate as though they are face-to-face.
According to Bob Briggs, CEO of Indianapolis-based PangeAir, "Businesses and
organizations can bring together distant employees, executives and clients without the
challenges of travel in an environment that can best be described as interactive highdefinition
TV. Meetings at PangeAir Gateways improve productivity, quality of life and
the bottom line. "

PangeAir is a franchisor that has identified potential audiences who could benefit from
public access telepresence locations, from corporations to universities, healthcare to law.
Foreseeing an opportunity to create face-to-face interaction without the need for travel,
they understood that telepresence technology had endless applications. "Dayton is the
birthplace of aviation and this is the beginning of a brand new business travel venue,
the launch of a digital airline gateway," said David Allen, chairman of PangeAir. For
