Please note the following important developments from HaiVision - the leader in performance network video technology. If you are attending NAB this year (April 14/17), please don't miss HaiVision at booth SU11626.

MAKO-HD - The MAKO-HD codec for the hai1000 now fully released and available. The MAKO supports up to 1080p and has an unprecedented 70 milliseconds of end to end latency. Specifically designed for full motion telepresence applications, the MAKO is also being used within unique applications in interactive broadcast, medical, and IPTV. The hai1000 supports up to 5 MAKO codecs within a single appliance.

European Commission uses hai1000 for Simultaneous Interpretation - This application of HaiVision telepresence technology addresses the pinnacle of audio video requirements. Nothing short of perfect audio, guaranteed a/v synchronization, and extreme low latency is acceptable for the interpreters.

World's Fastest HD H.264 Flash - HaiVision and Wowza team towards Live Content Delivery - With Flash now supporting H.264 video, and most broadcasters are executing plans for FLASH TV distribution, the low latency MAKO-HD is a perfect solution for delivering critical live broadcasts to broadband viewers.

Glowpoint and HaiVision team for Telepresence and Interactive Broadcast Network Video Solutions - Network solutions are critical for effective high quality video transmission. Glowpoint and HaiVision have established technical collaboration to assure that your network video works - always.

MAKO-HD Amino 130 compatibility - The MAKO-HD is fully compatible with standard set top boxes. The MAKO has had widespread acceptance in fuelling LAN based video distribution and digital video signage systems for corporations, stadiums, and emergency services.

DC-Sat.Net Video - Download an excellent discussion on encoders for satellite broadcast by DC.Sat.Net - the UK's premier VSAT provider. small 512kbps

At NAB, April 14-17in Las Vegas, HaiVision will be demonstrating the MAKO-HD in booth SU11626. In addition, HaiVision:

*                                 will host demonstrations in a number of partner booths, including Wowza (C552) and GlowPoint (SU13510)

*                                will have a private suite at the Hilton for advanced training and demonstrations

*                                 will host integrator training within the Hilton suite on the Monday and Tuesday afternoons (contact training@haivision.com)

You are encouraged to contact your local sales rep or sales@haivision.com to book a dedicated demonstration of the MAKO and other HaiVision technology. Get your free NAB pass here.

Critical to your network video decisions is interoperability and longevity. The MAKO-HD is the world's fastest, industry standard, H.264 HD codec. Unlike most HD codecs, the MAKO-HD is designed and built from the ground up on an incredibly reliable carrier grade platform - it is not a PC based system. To enable the most effective network video solutions, HaiVision's H.264 is interoperable with low cost set top boxes for easy to deploy endpoints. The MAKO is also compatible to drive Flash and QuickTime environments for media distribution. Using INVITATION, HaiVision's SIP based extensions, the MAKO-HD is as well interoperable with traditional video conferencing systems. Finally, HaiVision industry standard video streams are compatible with network video server systems.  Be sure to ask about SHARE-HD at NAB, HaiVision's revolutionary multi-stream network video server.
